“We are thrilled to share that our annual picnic, held on August 18, at Long Dock Park in beautiful Beacon, New York, was a resounding success! It was amazing to see such a fantastic turnout of our dedicated volunteers enjoying a gorgeous day by the Hudson River.

“The atmosphere was filled with joy and camaraderie as everyone savored excellent food, complemented by an impressive array of sweets. This event truly showcased the strong sense of family that our Hudson Valley Chapter has fostered over time.

“A highlight of the day was the presentation of the prestigious Clara Barton Award to our esteemed volunteer, David Burleson. David was unable to receive this honor earlier due to being on deployment, making this recognition even more special.
