It may be winter, but things are heating up as we prepare for three signature fundraising events around the Eastern New York Region this spring!

Coming up first is the Northeastern New York Chapter Fire + Ice Gala at the brand new Albany Capital Center on Saturday, April 1!

We’re looking forward to a great night featuring gourmet cuisine and open bar courtesy of Mazzone Hospitality, live music from the New York Players, exciting live and silent auctions, and the return of the Frank Adams Jewelers “Ice Bar.” Benita Zahn will serve as our Master of Ceremonies as we recognize the 2017 Fire + Ice Gala Honorary Co-Chairs, Ruth Mahoney, president of KeyBank, and Angela Beddoe, publisher and editor-in-chief of Herlife New York.

Just a few weeks later, we’ll be celebrating the good work of our North Country Chapter at Fire + Ice in Plattsburgh. The April 22 event will be held at the West Side Ballroom, where guests will enjoy dinner and dancing, along with fantastic live and silent auctions and a special celebration of local community heroes.

Last for the spring, but certainly not least, the Mid-Hudson Valley will have it’s own Fire + Ice celebration on Thursday, May 11 at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie. Fire + Ice – a common theme across all three events – brings our focus back to the Red Cross mission and the types of disasters we respond to most frequently across our region.
